On December 9, 2015, the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration issued the local standard for the General Technical Requirements for E-liquid Products, which was officially implemented on January 1, 2016.
Requirements: Product hygiene requirements, technical requirements, and product testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and other technical requirements, mainly applicable to the production, testing, inspection and management of Shenzhen E-liquid products. Ⅱ, "E-liquid specification"
On December 20, 2017, the Electronic Commerce Committee of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce officially released the group standard for the General Specification for Electronic Atomization Products, which was officially implemented on January 10, 2018.
Specification scope: general safety requirements, finished product requirements, test methods, labels, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. This standard applies to the production, testing, inspection, management of E-liquid products.
Technical requirements: E-liquid product production hygiene requirements, as well as product testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, product traceability, product recall, etc., applicable to the production, testing, production of E-liquid products, Inspection and management, etc.
III. Determination of E-liquid Nicotine, Propylene Glycol and Glycerol Gas Chromatography
On December 15, 2017, the National Standard for the Determination of E-liquid Nicotine, Propylene Glycol and Glycerol by the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration has entered the review stage and will be officially released at the end of 2018.

Main technical content:
1. Study on the sample pretreatment methods of nicotine, propylene glycol and glycerol in E-liquid, and investigate the effects of different extraction solvents, different shaking times and different weighing amounts on the determination of nicotine, propylene glycol and glycerol in E-liquid.
2. Optimize the analytical conditions of gas chromatography instrument for determination of nicotine, propylene glycol and glycerol in E-liquid, preferably internal standard, and investigate the effects of different capillary columns on the separation of target compounds, internal standards and interferences.
3. Analytical method internal verification, study the linear range and correlation coefficient of the best standard curve of the analytical method and the recovery, detection limit, quantitative limit and precision of the analytical method.
4. Select about 200 representative E-liquid samples from home and abroad, analyze them by established methods, and investigate the applicability of the analytical methods.
5. Conduct joint experiments on analytical methods: conduct joint experiments in 10 quality analysis institutions and laboratories that have been accredited in China.
6. Form a draft for the analysis of analytical methods, and solicit opinions from domestic quality inspection agencies and laboratories.
7. Modify according to the feedback and form a draft for the analysis method.
