Vape hazard

In the vape industry, the 95% reduction in the hazard of vape than cigarettes is a common understanding in the vape industry, which is also an important magic weapon for vape and e liquid manufacturers to promote their products.
The amount and level of known toxic substances produced using undoped vapes are lower, even lower than smoking, even though vape produces some new toxic substances, such as glyoxal. However, toxic substances can produce terrible and large variations in the same species or across species, which greatly increases the level of risk, sometimes even higher than smoking. This may be due to the thermal decomposition of the e liquid component in the open system device as the temperature increases. A large amount of metals, including lead, chromium, nickel, and formaldehyde, were found to be present in the smoke released by the vape, and their amount was greater than or equal to the amount produced by smoking under the same conditions.
Nicotine contained in e liquid is also an addictive substance in tobacco products. In addition to being addictive, nicotine also has an adverse effect on the fetus during pregnancy and can lead to cardiovascular disease. Although nicotine itself is not a carcinogen, its role may contribute to the formation of tumors and to organisms that cause malignant diseases and neurodegenerative diseases. Nicotine intake in the fetus and adolescents has long-term adverse effects on brain development and has the potential to cause learning disabilities and anxiety. The evidence is sufficient to alert children, adolescents, pregnant women and pregnant women to vape and nicotine.
There are almost 8,000 kinds of existing e liquid flavors. However, there is no relevant research on the health effects of heated or inhaled flavors in e liquid. Heated inhaled cinnamon, popcorn and cherry flavours are potentially dangerous, and only the literature mentions that long-term use of most flavours can cause serious health hazards, especially sweet flavours.
Many are irritants that cause inflammation of the respiratory tract. Although less than smoking, some scented vapes are more cytotoxic than unscented vape aerosols. Direct contact with e liquid also increases the sensitivity of airway cells and leads to viral infections, although the direct effects of exposure to e liquid and the relationship to aerosols are not clear.
Undoped vapes made with pharmaceutical grade ingredients are likely to be less harmful than tobacco based on the amount and level of toxic substances produced during use. However, vape is unlikely to be harmless, and long-term use increases the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, cardiovascular disease and other smoking-related diseases.
The magnitude of the health hazards brought by vape appears to be smaller than that caused by smoking, although there is currently insufficient research data to quantify the risks posed by vapes and combustible products. Therefore, there is no specific data with scientific credibility to show how safe the use of vape is compared to smoking. Existing simulation studies have shown that vape products are at least three times more safe than smoking based on the current vape usage rate, making them a health benefit for a wide range of people.
